Living fire Arts Network was founded in 2003 by David and Lisa Boyd as an outgrowth of church planting ministry in Vienna, Austria. While in Austria David became involved in a network of Christian artists and various projects including a regular artist breakfast gathering, an annual arts seminar called Bring the Arts to Life (now in the tenth year), and numerous seminars and performances born out of these relationships.

From September 2003 to June 2006 David established and led an art and prayer house near Vienna , which became a center for rehearsals, CD recording, small concerts, worship events and regular creative prayer events. The “Fire house” was a creative sacred space conceived as a place for people to meet with God following after the idea of the tent of meeting in Moses' time. In other words, a place where art played a significant role in providing a vehicle for God to speak and for worship and prayer to be expressed.

Having now moved back to Fort Collins, Colorado David and Lisa are pursuing the further development of the vision of Living Fire Arts Network on American soil. This does not mean disengagement from Europe but rather a focus on partnership with European artists and traveling regularly, often accompanied by teams of artists, to work on both sides of the Atlantic.
