Living Fire Arts Network, under which Blues Behind Bars is a "dba", was founded in 2003 - that means we are now 20 years into the work of building bridges through the arts. 2023 was indeed a busy year! We did a tour of all of the Nebraska prisons in June, held bi-weekly outreach events at the work release center in Fort Collins, took our band to prisons in Buena Vista and Fremont, Colorado and conducted songwriting workshops also at the Work Release Center.
